Shethal Bearelly, MD joins Department of Otolaryngology faculty

Shethal Bearelly, MD will join the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery faculty as an Assistant Professor on September 1, 2017.  Dr. Bearelly obtained his BA and MD degrees from Boston University.  He then completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco and a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic, Cranial Base, and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Bearelly’s primary clinical interests include head and neck mucosal malignancies, cutaneous malignances, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, robotic surgery, and microvascular reconstructive surgery. His academic research interests pertain to improving quality of life and functional aspects of head and neck cancer.
