Jonathan Young, MD

Dr. Young’s training has taken him across the nation and back. He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a BS in chemical engineering and received his medical degree from University of California, Davis. He went on to complete his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems in Richmond, VA. He supplemented his training by completing the Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Denver. His clinical interests include congenital craniofacial syndromes, chronic ear disease, cochlear implants, velopharyngeal insufficiency, cleft lip/palate repair, mandibular distractions, complex airway management, airway reconstruction, and vascular malformations. He also has experience in all aspects of Otolaryngology, including maxillofacial trauma and adult airway management.

Dr. Young's hometown is San Francisco, CA. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys travelling in search of inspiration for his sous-chef aspirations, outdoor activities, and running obstacle courses.
