Melanie Dunne, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Melanie Dunne graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona in 2012. She went on to obtain a Master of Science and Doctor of Audiology (AuD) in 2016 from the University of Arizona. Dr. Dunne has a Certificate of Clinical Competency with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her research includes improving communication between individuals with hearing loss and medical providers. She collaborated on the development of an intro-professional training program which focuses on educating medical providers concerning the impact of hearing loss, its affects in a medical setting, and appropriate communication strategies for communication with the hearing impaired. Dr. Dunne has knowledge in current technology including hearing aids, cochlear implants and bone anchored devices.  She is skilled in vestibular evaluations for patient struggling with dizziness and vertigo. She prides herself on being a compassionate provider, who takes time to educate her patients on the impact of hearing loss, diagnostic results and hearing device options.
